Nuclear Finale

Kim Jong Un

It has been announced that in just two weeks time North Korea will dismantle its long feared nuclear weapons test site. This comes after Kim Jong Un's recent U-Turn on policy which saw not only peace between the two Korea's but also a major victory for POTUS Donald Trump. As could be expected the peace has done well for his approval ratings. They've increased by 2% up to around 42% approval which while still being in the negative ,and behind Obama's at this time in his presidency, these are the highest they've been since 100 days into his term.

This article from Daily Express ,a newspaper with a right wing bias,  seems to be rather  unbiased however at the bottom of the page i found a link to this article claiming how Donald Trump stopped WW3. This makes their media bias much more clear as it shows a much more one argument with claims about how Donald Trump should get a Nobel peace prize.

This style of reporting is very typical of biased reporting, especially right-wing bias. The style reports in a very one sided manner and the article itself gives very few quotes to the oppositional arguments. The piece focuses on a comment made on question time and in my personal opinion I feel that in this article not enough discussion or facts are put forward. Instead it simply exposes more people to one person's opinion.

Personally I think that all major reporting should be forcibly unbiased as to avoid the common confusion between facts and opinions. More and more supposedly unbiased organisations such as the BBC are presenting arguments in a way that favours one side, particularly the pro government side, and I believe that this could be very harmful to society in general.
