Cross platform advertising is when a company will advertise their product or idea to the public via multiple mediums. For example a company might advertise on tv, and the radio and with posters rather than only using just one of these methods.
Cross platform advertising is a popular advertising method used by companies. The general idea being that it is more effective to advertise via multiple media forms than just one. This is because by advertising in various ways not only can they have the largest audience reach for their advert but they can also make the advertising more powerful as the constant reminding and reinforcement helps to encourage people to buy their product rather than if they only see one advert which is rather forgettable.
